Local Information
North Raleigh
North Raleigh is Convenient to Everything
Much of North Raleigh is composed of beautiful neighborhoods that are ideally located close to everything. I-440 (locally known as the Beltline) around the heart of Raleigh is close to its border, and part of I-540 (the Outer Loop) cuts through the area, making popular attractions and employment centers — especially Research Triangle Park in Durham — easy to reach. If you are looking for a suburban oasis that is close to urban action due to its close proximity to shops, restaurants and occasional outdoor live events, then we'd recommend North Hills in "Midtown". For those looking for a more tight-knit community made of newer, modest single-family homes and townhouses, you might want to look farther north in areas like Northeast Raleigh or Stonehenge — this area is anchored by Triangle Town Center and contains many parks, such as Goose Creek, where families congregate on warm Raleigh days.
Within this part of the state's capital, residents can visit the inline rink and Raleigh's only skate park at Marsh Creek Park, and easily reach nearby Falls Lake State Recreation Area as well as Downtown Raleigh by way of Capital Boulevard.
