Laurie is a native of Durham, graduated from UNC in Chapel Hill and currently lives in Raleigh NC.  She's proud to have called a number of places in the Triangle home throughout her life.  She's seen and experienced a lot of changes to the area in her 20 years as a licensed Real Estate Broker and has extensive knowledge of the Triangle real estate market.  She works with both buyers and sellers and particularly enjoys working with relocations to the area as well as first time home buyers.  She's  a very strong advocate for her clients and is highly skilled at negotiation.  When working with buyers Laurie is an attentive listener and adept at interpreting her client's needs and desires in order to ensure they have a positive home buying experience.  With sellers, her years of experience coupled with her natural instinct for determining the market allows them to sell quickly and with a higher return on their investment.

Laurie believes giving back is essential to helping her community.  She sat on the board of Beginnings - For Parents of Children Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and contributes to other charities such as Habitat for Humanity, The Frankie Lemmon Center and Rebuild Together.  In her free time you can find her hanging out with her husband Gary and their golden retriever Murphy watching the dolphins play in Taylor's Creek in Beaufort, NC.
